Development activities in Vietnam

We have been implementing development projects in Vietnam since 2006 mostly in the following areas:

Major outcomes of our projects so far include:

provision of equipment for healthcare facilities in several municipalities including training of the staff (working with ultrasound, rehabilitation)
mediation of provision of healthcare services in smaller municipalities, initiation of mutual communication between doctors from different organizations and localities
arranging access to healthcare for the local population
setting up several small businesses for people with disabilities (entrepreneurial households, cooperative units)
training of entrepreneurs and social workers
creation of our own training programme for children with disabilities in Vietnam and training of pedagogical staff and their inclusion among state teachers
setting up a class for children with disabilities
training of pedagogical staff at secondary schools

We are currently working on preparation of small development activities concerning in particular:

development of education at the level of primary education (applied education programme and cooperation with libraries, a programme for children and teachers)
a programme of mapping of Vietnamese identity
a programme of mapping of the Czech community in Vietnam
small research projects (languages, minorities, social work, etc.)
