Training of intercultural workers

We organize courses for intercultural assistants, mediators, and facilitators. You can find out about their activities here and here.

We have contributed to the establishment of these disciplines in the Czech Republic also to support the professionalization of individuals who speak well Czech and Vietnamese and understand both cultural backgrounds.

The training of intercultural mediators and facilitators is based on the teaching method of the Association of Mediators of the Czech Republic which also provides the training.

Course content

  • community interpreting
  • sociolinguistics, argumentation, basics of lecturing skills
  • basics of communication, negotiation, and methods of conflict resolution
  • intercultural issues and the basics of intercultural teaching method
  • basics of law and legal language
  • basics of social work (initial interview, social intervention, basics of sociology, psychology, and crisis intervention)
